Description:

In this class, you will learn about energy healing in a holistic, alternative way rather than allopathic medicine. Reiki is an energy healing technique introduced by Mikao Usui and can be used to heal yourself and others. Some believe that you need to be attuned to the Reiki energy to create healing, but healing comes from your heart by believing that you can heal and setting the intention to be healthy. Your body knows how to heal itself. We are consistently growing new cells and shedding old ones and we grow a new skeleton every 10 years. Reiki allows you to tune into the spiritual energy that's inside you and work on your body's ability to heal. Reiki is not a substitute for medical care. If you have a serious illness or condition, consult your physician for advice. However, Reiki can help facilitate your healing and help you raise your energetic vibrancy because you are tapping into the universal healing energy that can help you cleanse yourself and grow spiritually.

Course Learning Outcomes: Students who have successfully completed this course will be able to:

- Explain what Reiki is in much detail

- Understand energy healing in an alternative way

- Gain more belief in yourself

- Explain what healing is used for

- understand and know how to perform healing magik

Grading Scale:

A: 90 - 100

B: 80 - 89

C: 70 - 79

D: 60 - 69

F: 50 - Below

Successful completion of this course required a grade of 62% or better. If a student gets below the required grade then they will fail the course altogether. That student will be able to take the course again if they decide to, an act of that, the student's roster will be reset and they can go through it again.

Class standards:

Attendance:

Every student should be expected to attend the Witch's Academy once every month, at least. If you don't log in and attend the classes for 3-4 months, your student file will be taken out of the class for the time at hand. If you decide to come back, you can private message us and we can put you back in the roster for you to continue your lessons.

Retakes/Extra credit:

In the future, retakes and extra credit might be available but depends on the situation at hand and on the final decision made by the instructor during that time. Therefore, this is a possibility.

Homework:
The homework in the class will be completed accordingly. You won't get any busy work from the instructors. Usually, the homework will just be you answering some questions, writing some sentences, or explaining how you felt after your meditation exercises. The assignments will not ask for more than a paragraph unless that is what it takes for you to complete the task in its entirety. Some might be optional and others might go towards your grade.
